    Description

    Tiara Indiana Sandwich Glass 1976 Bicentennial Colonial Blue Set of 8 Cups and Saucers ***  This 16-piece vintage set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Each cup is 3-1/4" in diameter at the mouth and stands 2.-3/4" tall.  The measurement across the diameter and the top of the handle is about 4".
    Tiara Glass was marketed by Tiara Exclusives of Dunkirk, Indiana, USA through home-parties held by sales agents, between 1970 and 1998.  Tiara Bicentennial Blue (also called Historic Colonial Blue) glassware was only manufactured in 1976. The original catalog from the Bicentennial Blue collection  states, "Our President, Jim Hooffstetter, approved a limited production of a maximum of 15,000 sets in Historic Colonial Blue glass. Our dedicated craftsmen have worked diligently in the manufacturing of this special limited edition in observance of America's Bicentennial."
